Two of CarbonCure's executive team members, Sean Monkman, Vice President of Technology Development, and Robert Niven, CEO, will be presenting their latest research findings at the upcoming Annual Conference & Exhibition of the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC). The event is the largest annual transportation-related gathering of its kind in Canada and will take place September 26-29, 2010 in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The TAC’s mission is to promote the provision of safe, secure, efficient, effective, environmentally and financially sustainable transportation services in support of Canada’s social and economic goals. TAC’s annual conference brings people together to share their research and work towards maintaining their mission.
This year’s conference theme is Transportation – Adjusting to New Realities. The opening remarks will be given by the Hon. Bill Estabrooks, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal of Nova Scotia and this year’s TAC Conference Chair.
Monkman and Niven's talk will be presenting a paper under the Soils and Materials section of the conference entitled "Integration of Carbon Dioxide Curing Into Precast Concrete Production,” and will discuss CarbonCure's approach to curing precast concrete with carbon dioxide.
